It's not bad, necessarily, just a lot of unknowns at the moment. Time will tell if the headaches get worse, or subside, as this osteoma continues to harden. It's considered benign, and that's a damn good word to hear from your doctor.
The arrows are pointing to the bone behind the ears. On the right side, there is a nice round bone growth.
But overall, aren't my skull and sinuses sexy?

I'm glad it's benign and not too serious, but what do you do in the meantime about the headaches?
And, yeah, there's nothing sexier than images of your own insides! Maybe I'll bring my CT scan of my lungs from when I had TB to happy hour sometime. That'd be a hoot! ;)
I'm not a doctor, but is there even the slightest possibility that the double-arrow shaped object in your cranial vault is actually the source of your headaches?
