Diagonal 200s

Tuesday's workout was the wonderful diagonal 200s, where we run at our 5K pace for 200m on the track then jog across the field diagonally to recover. My 5K pace goal is 1:03 - I know, pretty slow. Since I'm participating in the CapTex Olympic distance tri this weekend, I was supposed to do 10 of these 200m repeats. Anyway, here's how I did:

1 - 57:73
2 - 1:02:39
3 - 1:01:72
4 - 1:02:28
5 - 1:00:40
6 - 1:02:00
7 - 1:02:29
8 - 1:02:56
9 - 1:02:68
10 - 1:05:30

And then, because my last one was so lousy, I did one more so I could finish with a tidbit of pride left:

11 - 1:00:72

It was hot and humid, and I did my warm up and cool down runs with Glenda (who is sorta fast for me), so all in all it was a great workout and I was spent!
